LPD Hints and Tips:

• Copy the database files to the hard drive to make searches faster and preserve the CD/DVD
• Save projects to your desktop to make finding them easier
• Double-Click saved project files to load them faster (instead of Opening LPD, then selecting Open Existing Project, and browsing to the project you want to open)
• Project Files can be saved with a "Auto Output" option that will automatically load the project, then automatically print previously defined reports or dump previously defined exports
• Backup your projects and configuration files to a floppy or network location. If you need reinstall LPD you can restore these settings so that you do not have to recreate them (use the TOOLS menu from the main grid)
• Give your projects titles using FILE, PROJECT PROPERTIES from the main grid. These titles are used to automatically label Microsoft MapPoint maps
• Use Project Properties to set date limits if you want to see or export only recent data. This makes exports file sizes smaller so importing into other programs may be significantly faster
